Are you concerned about giving your child a healthy and varied diet?

Are you confused by the media and what is good/bad for your child?

Come and learn more about providing healthy meals for your child.

This 8 week interactive course also discusses other aspects of everyday life.

This course is aimed at parents and carers with children under 5 years of age. It aims to inform and build confidence around healthy eating practices for young children and also looks at aspects of parenting and finding a balance in life.

We encourage course goers to attend with their children as the first half an hour each week is spent as a group having a snack as well as taking part in a 'Family Time' activity.

Booking and Cost

The course is heavily subsidised by the Children's Centre and each parent receives a number of free resources. We have therefore now found it necessary to introduce a £20 charge for attending the course in order to offset some of these costs. We are unable to book your place before this payment is received. In certain cases we may be able to offer a free place- please speak to staff at the centre.
