About Us

Buckland Sure Start Children's Centre opened on 1st December 2009.

We have plenty of resources and a lovely garden waiting for you to explore.

Aims

Our services are aimed at parents and carers with children from 0-5 years, although we are more flexible with this during weekends and school holidays. Please bear in mind however that the majority of our resources are aimed at under fives.

The long term aim is to help every child reach their full potential by focussing on healthy lifestyles, good socialisation skills and relationships with others, with a positive attitude to learning and development but also helping those in need to access the services and support that can help them.

Our aim is to work and play together with families and other professionals and have lots of fun!!!

• HomeStart
• Job Centre Plus
• Schools - Home/School link worker
• Pre-Schools and Nurseries
• Independent practitioners who offer beneficial services such as baby massage, and parent and baby classes
• Adult learning - bringing courses to your doorstep

Location

Our Children's Centre is situated in the grounds of Buckland Primary School, at the far end of the car park. 

Please ensure you keep to the pathway all the way to the Children's Centre and stay clear of the car park!

Although we are within the school grounds we are a separate entity from the school and have been set up to meet the needs of the Staines area as a whole.

You are welcome to come to our centre wherever you live and you do not need to have any connection with the school in order to attend.
